About MS2

Introduction

MS2 fills an important new niche amongst Hospital practice management companies by actually concentrating on solving and tackling the tougher aspects of emergency care others consider insurmountable.  MS2 excels at revamping the Hospital Operation system processes that cause delays on patient care, bed overcrowding, morale dissatisfaction and decreased reimbursement.

Mission & Vision

The mission of MS2 is to transform Hospital Emergency Departments into extremely efficient, customer oriented and cost-effective entities able to reach new levels of profitability and recognition in remarkably short periods of time.

MS2 envisions becoming the foremost Hospital Operations turnaround specialist in the industry thanks to its proven management plan and unique program.

MS2 Core Values

  • We are active participants in our client’s success. We augment the knowledge and understanding of their problems and how to best solve them.

  • We are committed to the long-term growth of the relationship with our clients. We allocate all the time and energy needed to work with them on a regular basis to their satisfaction.

  • We base all recommendations to our clients on measurable problems and outcomes. We always work from the reality of their world and what is best for them.

  • We do not fail. If an expected outcome has not been achieved we prove our professionalism and value to the client once again by diagnosing the obstacles holding them back and executing new solutions.

  • We act like early warning systems for our clients. We surface any unexposed problems and notify them of any regulatory or industry changes that may impact them.

Our Team

MS2 Core Team
The core of MS2 is our staff, comprised of ER Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Business Process Reengineering Experts who are trained in our methodology.

Our clinical team helps execute your  optimization strategy where it really counts—right at the patient’s bedside.

Uniqueness
First; The MS2 methodology is simple to understand, learn and apply by staff members at all levels of the institution. Although based on queuing theory concepts, the focus is on the practical application of these concepts without the use of any complex mathematical or statistical manipulations.

Second; MS2  was developed by front-line clinicians and Hospital staff members rather than “data crunchers”, statisticians or consultants. It utilizes current resources and infrastructure and does not require new information systems, technologies or computer based programs.

Third; Contrary to methods adapted from other industries, like ISO, Sig-Sigma or Lean, MS2 was entirely developed and refined within the Hospital setting. It has been “fine-tuned” to issues that affect Hospitals and achieves unprecedented results relevant to Healthcare institutions.

Fourth; MS2 is designed to be implemented by the operational staff rather than imposed from upper managerial levels. In fact, two Hospitals have already successfully submitted their MS2 staff driven initiatives as their Magnet Accreditation Status Submission Projects. Both got it.

Most important, Instead of just improving current systems and operations, MS2 fundamentally changes the way patient flow is managed throughout the institution and achieves results that cannot be achieved through incremental improvements alone.
